10/06/2013

Today was a very good day for me, only had one red and it was a very stupid sort of double mistake, first i didn't notice i was trading in an IRL race, so i forgot to lower the stakes since the liquidity is lower in this races, when i noticed my mistakes i was down almost 1€, and then still in the same race it wasn't exactly a mistake but the stream was with a few seconds delay, the horses were still loading in the stream and suddenly the race went live leaving me with a couple stakes open, managed to exit with -1,96€, it wasn't too bad considering the situation but i need to be aware of this so it won't happen again, i actually almost always refresh the stream a few seconds before the off to try and cut the delay to a minimum but i guess i can't do nothing about it when the delay is this big, well on the positive side it was the only red of the day so i can't really complain.

Today i did trade a lot more in live taking advantage that my bank although still small, now allows me to trade live since i don't have to stick to just back/lay anymore, i think half of my profit from today was made in live.

All in all it was a very good day.

  1. You are amazing man! Good luck on your journey!
I'm a beginner in horse trading.
What is your tactic. IR or PRe Race trading?
Do you base your trades purely on the graphs?
I like your style of small but steady bets!

  2. Thank you, i appreciate your compliment although i have to say i'm not great at all, i'm just having a very good start with very good results, but sooner or later(hopefully later) the reds will come... :P

The first days i traded the underdogs about 90% in pre live, the last couple of days i've been trading both pre live and live sbout 50/50

About the graphs, i do look at the graphs, but i don't base my trades purely on the graphs at all, i don't even know how to explain exactly what and why i do the trades i do, but i guess it's a combination of graphs, weight of money and my experience on the underdogs markets. It's hard to explain, but if you just started trading the horses i'm sure that in time you'll probably understand what i'm trying to say.

Good luck on your journey too.

    Best Regards
